Story Summary: Marinette Dupain-Cheng is not your average girl, even in a world full of Heroes and Villains. Haunted by a past she can't escape and a future she can't predict, she walks a lonely path through the heart of Paris. But then things start taking a turn for the supernatural very quickly, and Marinette faces a choice: let others in or be consumed by what's inside her. Can she keep her secrets buried, or will they rise to devour everything she's fought to protect?

This book contains many mature themes and will have very detailed descriptions of injuries, death scenes, and more. As such, this story should only be viewed by those who are 18 and up. Each chapter will be labeled with the various mature themes present in that chapter. Please remember that this is a fictional story and may not reflect real-life experiences accurately.
