Maria Torres, a nineteen year old girl, comes from a long line of mafia bosses. She never included herself in her father business nor did she want to, she preferred to be able to do whatever she wanted, and she didn't want to kill people although death never bothered her, she still didn't want to kill. And Diego Herrera, the man didn't even know existed that she was to marry due to a business arrangement between her dad and Diego's. Finding herself with mixed feelings about her situation, she agrees to marry him, not like she had much of a choice. After a few months they marry and begin sharing a house together, their parents hopeful they'll learn to get along. But to Maria's dismay, Diego is cold and heartless towards her.
