The students knew what the "Day of Unity" really was. Their parents didn't believe them, but as long as it was stopped. It wasn't a problem.

Well, until Emperor Belos decided that they were too exhausting to be left alone anymore.

A barrier was created that day.

The rebels took the Knee half.

Belos took the Head half.

It couldn't be flown over. There was no way around it. One would need to walk through to get to the other side of the broken Isles.

That journey was too dangerous to be done. Forcing both sides to keep to themselves until it came down.

No survivors were recorded, fueling the rage towards the rebels. As one of them was accused of creating the barrier.

This unstable, involuntary truce would not last forever. All either side could do was prepare for the increasingly violent fights between small groups. And ultimately, the big one that would determine the victor.

Unraveling the lies, or keeping them intact.

[A/N: This concept is partially inspired by the concept of Shadow and Bone: the fold. But I'm trying to make it more original.
