Lydia and stiles needed break, now that isaac, jackson, danny, Ethan and aiden moved to London, to move out of all the supernatural stuffs. Basically all sevan of them became besties as time passed and now it was their time to move on, also stiles couldn't stand scott always blaming him for allison's death. It was to much and the rest of the pack except select few didnt blame him. But it was really too much.

Noah saw how it was effecting his son, he could'nt take it anymore, so he asked if his son wanted to move out of the beacon hill, which stiles agreed immediately without any protest, but he had one request if he could ask lydia to accompany him. Noah agreed to it. After he got both kids approval, Noah called his wife's sister to inform his son and best friends is going to come and continue their studies there. Also he asked where both of them can stay which his sister in law, said with her and her daughter. Which Noah was very thankful of that.
