What is considered a myth coursed inside Kemi. Now under the Grunters' red light, she is taken to Lagos for 'safety'. She must do everything to survive and probably save the world.
With a series of events causing her to team up with her very own ice-cold prince charming and an unexpected ally, she scales Lagos, encountering nature deformed creatures, bloody witches, and even her supposed mother.
The world fate lies on Kemi and the power of the violet flame.

She felt his warm palm on her wrist and at once she was facing him. Without warning, his lips engulfed hers, setting her on fire just like she did him. His lips were warm and soft and she revelled in it as she shut her eyes, her body instantly warming up to the kiss.
