After enduring the loss of a beloved family member, Lisa starts to rethink some matters in her life. She's been living a life that is not the one she dreamed of as a child. A toxic relationship, a dead-end job, and a tendency to put off important things... all she wants now is to put her life together. Craving a new beginning, Lisa, the bookseller in a decaying second-hand bookshop in São Paulo, decides to go on a lifetime journey in which she will be visiting what once was home to seven writers in different countries. At some point, she then meets Derek Graham, an obnoxious Scottish chef. Rude and infuriating, Lisa can't get why she can't just get him out of her mind, even more so when Ethan Bolton, owner of a nice pub in Ireland, proves to be so nice and attentive to her. Lisa needs to find out for which of the two men her heart beats faster. But will her fears be able to destroy a romance that goes beyond the pages of a book for the voracious reader Lisa? This is a story about self-love, hope and the struggles of life. It's above, even when our world seems to be falling down.
