I'm guessing you didn't use words when you thought about how to pour a glass of water, you just know. Communicating that knowledge to someone else is different than telling them with step by step verbal instructions.   That gives you an idea of how Buddy's people communicate with each other - a physic message that combines images, feelings, and information all rolled into one. His is a biped species that has no technology, no obvious villages, and no words.   Buddy is separated from the Big Ones (teens to grown-ups who have achieved the final growth-stage for his kind). Buddy and his group of Small Ones (toddlers to pre-teens) are in great danger. Being a Small One in the first stages of growth, Buddy is not capable of defending himself. The Small One, who will eventually be known as Buddy, reaches out for the adults who can protect him and his group of Small Ones from the new threat that invaded their idyllic start on life. Before the fall of Earth humanity built a great colony ship, ten thousand of the colonist left Earth for a hundred year journey to Gillespie. They came from all over the Earth leaving a planet knowing they would never see another in their lifetime. The Ark is a rotating cylinder the size of a large island with its own train system. It's divided into three main sections, the city, the framlands, and the Lowers. The people are divided into three groups as well, Uppers, Middles and Lowers. Uppers are made of elite scientist, Astro-crops, bureaucrats they made up about 3% of the population. The Middles are are the farmers, the guard, teachers, doctors, the food processors, clothes makers and of course the mechanical maintenance workers. They make-up the 97% of the 10,000 counted citizens. The lowers are criminals and children born to un-paired parents. They live separated from the middles and Upper. In lowers you work in water reclamation or in one of the fish farms that supply protein to the ship. In the year 2149 Dylan De Rovia is trying to wrap her head around the idea that in two year's she'll be paired. That they call marriage on the Ark. Pairing is good most who are paired do end-up staying together because while genetics play good part in determining a match so does personality. Some people choose to use spend this time having a good time with as many partners as possible. Dylan however, vowed that she would never fall in love with anyone before pairing. The universe had other plans however, when Dylan learns that she'll pair with an Upper named Kyive Sinclar life gets more complicated than ever. Falling in love is hard enough falling in love in space that the story.

There are now 3 classes of humans: the borrowers, with a size up to 5 inches, humans with a size or 1 foot up to 8 feet tall, and finally the giants from 30 feet up to 50 feet tall. As it is in our world, there is a lot of discrimination or "sizism", as it is called. The societies try to work together but many times there are ups and downs. Jonathan is a 20 year old human, 6'6" tall, with origins from the UK. Now he is attending university in the USA. There he has many friends but there is something missing: he wants a relationship with another human boy, but also has sexual desires with people of different sizes. But, there is also something else that is special about him: he has the ability to change the size of any person, animal and object he wants. His ability started to manifest a couple of years ago and he hasn't shown it to anyone... But who knows what - or who - could change that. Join him on his journey, as he meets Luke, one of his human classmates from the US, with his friend Ethan, a borrower that lives with Luke and attends their university. *Note: the story is still at early stages and everything is subject to change. We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. Being part of the forgotten generation had been a blessing in disguise. At first it did not seem so since being abandoned in space was less than desirable. Yet with every loss of life came a new one, day after day, year after year the support from the people back home dwindled as did their dreams of populating the nearby planets. Until scientists found a planet only couple light years away that is a sister planet to Earth. No one has ever been on this planet before and is unsure what will people find there. So on the year B18, all children born within that year were taken from their families and sent into a spaceship to be trained and prepared for the landing of this new planet. Samantha and her squad are flying through space and preparing themselves both mentally and physically for the adventures of this new planet. No one knows what is going to happen when the spaceship lands on this foreign land.
