"I have not met a Banuk before. Only heard tales, I did not think to see one here." It was a polite way of Kotallo saying that what he had heard, were fanciful tales of hermits in snow covered hills who did not wish to socialise with the wider world.

Nureka smiled, "I left my home for a greater cause." She explained before pushing away from the table with a small sigh. "Here's to firsts, I have never met a Tenakth before either; yet here we are, Kotallo." Nureka smiled and took a step back, she inclined her head and he did the same right back at her.

Having aided Aloy in the battle of Meridian, Nureka, a Banuk Shaman from Ban-Ur promised to lend her help to Aloy, whenever she'd need it. Resurrecting an AI, dealing with rogue rebelling Tenakth along with everything else in between seems like an immense undertaking. Let alone one Tenakth in question joining the ranks of Aloy's comrades and causing unknown feelings to stir within Nureka, as secretive as the Banuk can be, even she isn't fooling herself or anyone else, let alone Kotallo who is as quick as an arrow.

"I felt so caged again, as if I had wings but I wasn't allowed to fly, a voice but I wasn't allowed to speak. It was a scary feeling at first, but later you just get used to it, but you just want freedom and the feeling of safety. Why did I have to be caged in this dump? I thought about the Phoenix again. Did the Phoenix hate me? What had I ever done to this Phoenix? I balled my fists up in anger as I stared outside the window still, watching a great brown eagle fly outside." ("The Normality" is part 1 of "Destiny of Fire", the first book of the "War of the Phoenix" series) For quite a long time, a legendary bird called the "Phoenix" tried to possess a woman and her children to come in hopes of taking over the world. When it gets ready to try and possess its next victim, Alisha Quill, a group called the Storm-seekers and another group called the Spreaders are hard at work to stop the Phoenix in any way possible, including asking for the help of the most powerful man in the world; Almaroz. Meanwhile, nine heroes rise from the most unlikely places and even though they don't know it, their paths are set to cross and their destiny falls under the feet of the storm-seekers and the Phoenix itself. Achievements: #32 in Steampunk #105 in Prophecy #152 in Phoenix WARNING: It's my first story, so it probably won't be top quality, and the chapters are pretty long. "A Great Storm Is Coming..." This takes place after the battle of Far Zenith. Aloy finds out she was not the only one released by GAIA from the lightkeeper protocol. She ventures into the far north to find this person. PS: I have been thinking about this fan fiction in my mind for a while now and I just wanted a way to make them come to life. Also, I am not a reader nor a writer. Any tips and recommendations would be appreciated. If you know any tools I could use to improve my story telling please let me know. Thank you
