She had a careful owner, who even maintained and re-built her wing so she can fly again. The white bat acted despite her looks until she wakes up in a different body, giving her a new challenge. 
 Taking one long look in the mirror, she decides that what she claimed to be her life was one big, long lie. She betrays her loyalty to the one and only person that had ever inflected care towards her, to set off into the large metropolis of Los Angeles and find clues about who (and what) she actually was.
