Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story
NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me. Sorry for any previous confusion and the inconvenience... Sequel to RTTE(Race to The Edge*On NETFLIX*) watches HTTYD(How to Train Your Dragon). (Now) If one were looking at any of our previous Watchers they would find that the bright light never went out. One second the Watchers were in their places, the next they were on the floor groaning in pain. After all, Shadow did say that time was stopped, even though she didn't mention the hard landing. Maybe it was the fact all the Watchers jumped out of their seats, literally, that they fell flat on their faces. That wasn't mentioned before? Oh well, Shadow was simply in a rush to get everyone out before they themselves got mobbed.
