Eclips Kiss

A horrifying scream erupted from the animatronic. His good arm reaching for his smiling faceplates to claw at it furiously. His body twitched and sparked, and I could only stare in shock as Sunny wailed in agony. As if reciting a chant, he repeated the words 'lights on' and 'run' over and over again. I was unable to do either. His pleading cries were abruptly cut short as the last of the school's lights blew out, and darkness surrounded my shaking form. The cold grip of dread gripped my skin, and I cautiously called out,
"S-Sunny...?"
Silence. Pure and terrifying silence. I took a step forward and extended my arms out, hoping to feel for the animatronic, hoping that he was ok, hoping and praying that what he told me of his other half was just wild exaggerations. We'd been very careful as to not let him loose. However, it's against nature's code to keep a beast caged forever. It will eventually break free. A dark, menacing laugh blew through my ears, and I instinctively jumped at the sudden sound. Without thinking, my body willed my quaking legs to launch forward, and I sprinted down the dark hallway. My heart jumped when a voice rang out directly behind me,
"Where are you going, little girl?"
I was so fucked.
