depressing homeland journey struggle

A girl is stuck in a land of dust and heat, amidst poverty, while all she wants is to go back to her homeland. The last thing on her mind is a second chance, but as she receives an invaluable jewel from a passerby, she decides to use the money she gets from the jewel to embark on a journey back to her romanticised homeland. Watch her struggle at every turn as she travels across this alternate reality realm. Will this story be another fairytale with a happy ending? Or will this story, like those blown away by dusty wind, end in failure?
