Things hasn't been so good for this Earth-like planet.
First, an expansionist empire ravaged the whole world thousands of years ago and disappeared but not for long.
Second, they only have a dozen years till this Empire returns and ravage the world again.
Things have been going good for the inhabitants up until the number 1 superpower, The Holy Mirishial Empire's emperor was assassinated by a militia supported by the remnants of the expansionist empire from long ago. HME, along with the Annonrial Empire, turned against the whole world and put them on the edge of losing.
Unbeknownst to them, two countries of identical names and principles that came from different eras appeared out of nowhere. This may or may not turned the tide of the war in favor of the Coalition against HME and AE.

TORII: The Road to the New World in Conflict with the Golden Eagle
A distinguished soldier fighting against the corruption and injustice of the Mexican cartels, he was known throughout organized crime as a furious demon, an excellent, cold-blooded, and calculating strategist, a merciless killer of his enemies. However, those who managed to survive barely lived to tell the tale. He is the embodiment of evil and anger, so they nicknamed him "Devil" and put a huge price on his head. Years passed, but no one survived, so they understood that crossing paths with this demon was a death sentence. The only option they had was surrender to pay for their crimes and not fight. This led to the total annexation of all organized crime out of fear of the "devil" himself for the sins they committed in life. After the news of what had happened, all citizens burst into joy, throwing their caps and hats in the air as a symbol of victory for the justice of their beloved Mexico. They named that day "The Justice of the Eagle," which had overthrown the evil from their homeland. Months passed, all citizens enjoyed a magnificent peace and tranquility without worries, even the Christian priests took this as a divine sign, giving thanks as appropriate, but this was not the end. An unexpected event happened in Mexico City, what seemed like a Japanese structure, it was not a single structure but a portal to another world where gods, monsters, magnificent beasts and other races live apart from the human, especially magic. Mexico would have a conflict against an Empire with a vast army of samurai that would try to invade the homeland. This was just the beginning of this historical tale. "May God bless us with his grace, may he forgive our enemies because the Devil will not."

Summoning Our Country - NHS Kai
CONTENT WARNING: Japanese ultranationalism, language, gore depictions, obscene scenery Off to the Orient lay a massive ocean that separated the bellies of the great continents of Eurasia and the Americas. In between the global juggernauts that were the United States of America and the People's Republic of China was a state home to 120 million people and the world's third largest economy. But things often don't go as hoped. The nation of Japan suddenly wakes up to the heavens above them having been rewritten in what seemed like divine premonition. A familiar, yet otherwise alien world awaited them beyond the shores that had kept them safe. As the vices of globalization threatened to wreck havoc and condemn the Japanese state into obscurity, it was up to newly elected Prime Minister Takamori Hideaki and his administration to face this challenge of epic proportions. Paying homage to みのろう's Summoning Japan (Nihonkoku Shoukan, NHS) as a fan-made work, this story will also follow Japan, but explores a completely different world. Now helmed by a named Prime Minister, Japan will wade the murky waters of the new world as it struggles to come to terms with its issues.
