All Things Burn: The Elementals

Generations ago twelve brothers ruled the world as kings. But envy and pride drove a divide between them, and the world devolved into war and chaos. The youngest, and most faithful of the brothers (Daniel) was blessed with the power of the four elements of the world. He shook the earth, commanded the seas, whispered to the winds, and roared fire. His people were blessed and glorified above all. He had born unto him four sons from four wives; each of his sons possessed one of his great powers. When he died, he split among them his kingdom evenly. But his sons and their descendants abused their powers and tainted themselves with riotous living. Soon their ways were answered, and the kingdoms of the earth rose up against the descendants of Daniel and overthrew the Kings of the elements until their nations vanished from the earth.
A young elemental and knight of his majesty the king of Tenla is tasked to front the assault against surrounding lands in name of the Kingdom. His power of fire helps the King's men devastate the villages and cities they come against. He has lost himself in the destruction.
His fate changes when he meets a young girl off chance from a village his army is sent to destroy whom touches the man beneath the callous.
