Starting college was never supposed to be easy, but she was certain it shouldn't be like this.

As a new chapter of her life begins, the plucky Alyssa is faced with challenges she never would've expected. One of these challenges is Jake, the stranger who sits at the back of her class. As old friendships collapse, Alyssa views Jake as a source of stability in her life, but their fragile relationship is soon tested. Amongst all this, she begins to wonder whether she has been confusing fact and fairytale, and whether her love story was over before it even began.
