Camille Balfour is a generational witch with a lot more to her than some weak human with an arrhythmia. Camille is 23 years old and when she was 14 her grandmother died, causing her to become mute. Camille's mother was desperate to have her daughter speaking and normal again. After two years of being checked into a mental hospital, she did in fact speak again. It seemed that her life could go back to normal, until her mother left her the family mansion and future before vanishing from her life completely. Afterwards, she leads a pretty quite secluded life away from the townspeople. That is until the mayor shows up at her door with a deliciously dangerous newcomer.

Lorenzo Munro lived a simple life of witch-hunting and running from his destiny. His destiny being the King of Demons. He is constantly at war with himself over his duty and responsibility of ruling or being happy with another in his life, despite his mother's wishes. Not only that, but Lorenzo appears to have some kind of humanity as he doesn't feel comfortable with killing anyone unless they prove themselves dangerous. He follows a strange set of moral codes to keep himself in check, rather than be like his mother; ruthless and unforgiving in mistakes. On one of his witch-hunter missions, he finds his victim to be almost completely harmless. That is until he finds out she is an outlaw with the Witchcraft Counsel and needs his protection.

This also happens to be my first book that I am going public with. It will be slow updates because I get terrible writer's block and I'm also a perfectionist when it comes to my writing.
