Mizuko Shimizu is a prince from the Kingdom of Atlantia, 3rd in line to his king father's throne, bested by his 2 older brothers. Call it greedy if you want to, but Mizuko really wanted to become a King/Queen as well. It was his most fervent prayer, his highest dream, his most ardent wish, and his strongest hope. One day, his prayers would be answered when he heard the story of the Fallen King, "Yami Sukehiro". Yami Sukehiro was the king of a distant kingdom who was betrayed & defeated during a rebellion, and was sold off into slavery.

After learning of Yami Sukehiro, his past and his current fate, Mizuko immediately set off to find the Fallen King to present a deal to him, one that would benefit the both of them greatly, especially Yami. Finally, after a long journey, Mizuko finds Yami, and presents his deal to Yami. "Marry me, and I shall help you reclaim your lands.", Mizuko spoke to Yami. What would happen next? Would Yami accept? If so, would they both end up getting along and succeed in their quest?
