Normally, death by monsters is thought of as nothing but a horror movie genre. But in the town of Misty Creek, death by the supernatural is quite common. Monsters roam the borders of the town, but these aren't ordinary monsters. Each monster has one rule you have to follow if you want to survive. The tasks the rules require are simple, but deadly if not followed exactly. Red mist surrounds the town, preventing the people and the monsters from leaving. What happens when the townspeople grow tired of being slaves to The Wailing Widow, who cursed the town in the first place? What will happen to Riley and the town when a well-known con artist shows up, trying to rid Misty Creek of its curse?

But it's the tales of pure evil that get swept under the rug. The tales of deception, where cruelty is rewarded. The tales that have you questioning who the real villain of the story is.
