My grandmother is Tahuantinsuyu/Inca, she's peruvian. The Rain Lands are based off of the Mexica/Aztec, the Tahantinsuyu/Inca, and the Teca/Maya (the big three in LA). I used the Inuit tattoos and their meanings, and if any inuk sees this, and I say/express it wrong or if the idea of it is wrong, I am willing to revise the whole book to make sure nothing is out of place!
