This book is about a girl who has many memories, as for some they are not good. She had suffered so much. She is numb. But she hides it all from the people who she loves, the ones that should know when she is lying, but yet she says 'I'm fine' having them believe that. At a young age, Jade understood that no one knows how you actually feel and go through other than one, yourself. She thought that she would never be in love, or have a lover. But did she think wrong?
