Book 1 of Forever Series
When a young lady is found outside of the old missile silo, that is being used as a base for the Autobots, Prime's team cannot help but wonder why she showed up, and whether or not they are able to trust her. When the find her being attacked by the team of MECH, they know they have to save her, no matter who she is. Prime has deemed himself to try and find out who this human lookalike is, and what is so important about her. Sometimes there is clearly more than what will meet the eye.

You all know Ratchet, the grumpy Autobot medic. You know he isn't exactly "on board" with humans around the base. Okay, Raf, Jack, and Miko could be an exception, and perhaps June Darby and Agent Fowler, if he was in one of his better moods, but if there was another human? No. No way. That would make him the guardian of said human. And he had much better things to do than babysit. Cassidy Weathers isn't one to talk, mainly because she can't. She was born mute. It doesn't stop her from making her voice be heard though, as long as she has her notebook and as long as her fingers aren't broken. She never thought the three kids she had met and become fast friends with, Jack, Raf, and Miko, had a secret that was bigger than a two-story building. Except for Jack's motorcycle, perhaps. It could be one and a half stories. So when these two meet, which aren't under the best of circumstances, they might start butting heads (or helms, or both, or-you get the idea). Or they can have a guardian/charge relationship that they slowly build up to, even when one of them will respond to the other without a word. However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear. And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. And she did not know why. Megatron himself feels he simply had taken something so precious from Prime, and enjoys watching the autobot panic in trying to find her. But, the girl began to confuse his spark. So much so he questions so much about himself.
