Past Regrets (A Prison Break Mafia Prologue)

Everyone has a past, mine happens to be terrible.
At the age of sixteen, my father passed away.
My mother wasn't sure how to deal with the loss, so she found herself another man quickly.
A man who has no morals.
I tried so hard to be the perfect child for them, but it wasn't enough.
After a heated argument with my best friend, and a huge mistake I find myself locked up.
I thought my life was over until I met someone who promised me a different future.
My only hope is that my past regrets don't catch up with me.
