A boy and a girl (Patrick and Carrie) are best friends and do everything together. When Patrick was drafted into the war Carrie decided to join as well and they stayed by each others sides. When Patrick went off with a different troop something bad happened and Carrie thought he died. She knew that he wasn't dead and decided to find him, even if it took her entire lifetime, and was taken to a lair by doctors from the military.
