Growing up in the streets of New York, Rebecca is ready for change. After being told the upcoming plans for her city, as the jets start to rise more than they've ever had.Her life goes as it has been until, a member of the Jets starts to take interest in her.
{1} I do NOT excuse Riff and his opinions in this fan fiction, the main characters calls him out every time. Nor does Rebecca support him and his decisions.
The whole plot during 1957, is credited to Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim. Anything featuring Rebecca O'Hara is by me.🤍

She's the King of New York
Katherine Plumber has been pulled into a large strike in the summer before the turn of the century. See her part of the strike through her eyes as she experiences situations and feelings she never thought she would. The story begins right in between Watch What Happens and King of New York. So about halfway through the musical. This is a complete story with 14 chapters. Update day will be Fridays or Saturdays, if you don't see it on Friday, check again on Saturday. I do not own the Newsies or the characters in it. This is kind of a crossover story, because I mention a character or two from the original movie. Disney owns all of the characters. I used some of the dialogue and that is also not mine. That goes to Disney and Harvey Fierstein. There are some added scenes so this is not your average strike story. The cover art picture is not mine, I found it on the Internet. It is a still from the movie. I slapped the text on it though. As far as OC's go, there is only one and he appears at the very end.
