Eight has lived semi-contentedly for years. All she has ever wanted is to find a way she can obtain happiness while fulfilling her duties as a Worker of the AntWing Colony. 

So far, that plan has been going swimmingly. Which is to say horrible, because as a dragon who's never even seen the sun (let alone a body of water), Eight can't swim.

When her section of Workers reaches maturity they are tasked with a new job: one Eight does not agree with. They have to sire a new generation of Workers for the Colony. She and her best friend devise a plan to escape, but that also backfires - this time, more literally than figuratively...

Even though this story is rated Mature, it is only for the occasional fight scenes which include enough blood and gore to showcase the reality of fighting.

Radiant never had it good growing up in Wasp Hive; the terrible teachers and the looming threat of a tyrannical queen being the main factors of course. Radiant has always known that HiveWings were evil and her tribe was practically useless to both her or to stop Wasp. It was beginning to seem as though she'd never find anything positive to say about life. That would've been until she would be bought by a rich HiveWing in Hornet Hive. A 'Duke', if you will. A well mannered HiveWing who treats Radiant with... Respect? Kindness? Is it all a trick set up by Wasp herself to confess her blasphemy to this puppet, or is this dragon really sincere to her? A lone flamesilk, her gifts hidden from the powers that be, finds that there is even darkness her own silk won't light. A spy who lives on the edges of the law will shed her old ways and fly straight into the heart of danger to find out the twisted past of her family. A young dragonet, looked down upon by all those who look to him, will fight free and soar high to find what is truly right. A LeafWing who is considered a joke among his peers, gets caught up in the storm of danger he didn't want to be apart of. A HiveWing, immune Wasp's control, fights out for the light that he feels should be shone on the less fortunate. Hawker is a normal Hivewing in cicada hive. He has his life as a soldier, and always, ALWAYS, follows the rules. That was until he met the most beautiful dragon he had ever seen. One problem.
