"BEEP BEEP BEEP" my phone alarm pulls me out of my pleasant dream.
"Fuck" I grumble, attempting to feel around and turn it off without opening my eyes yet. I eventually give up after being unsuccessful for another minute.
I get out of bed and check my phone to see it's only 6:30am so I have around an hour until I have to go to work. I walk to my bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. My eye-bags are getting worse.
I think back to Tuesday night and my stomach drops. It's only been two days and yet it still makes me feel empty just the same.
I cringe remembering it all.
