"It's really good. She'll love it." I smile over to where Elliott is stood with an oven tray of the same brownie mix, ready to bake it. He smiles at me in appreciation before crouching down to the oven.

I lick my thumb and lean up to James, wiping the chocolate off his cheek, before licking it off my finger. He stares into my eyes mesmerizingly, before tucking a strand of my straightened hair behind my ear. I stare back into his eyes and feel him lean slightly closer. His gaze drops to my lips, before fluttering up to my eyes again. A bang of the oven door awakened us from this poisonous trance, nervously blushing as we come to our senses.

Newest addition to the Rosenthal Family, James Broadson has more to him than meets the inner eye. His mystery sparks a sarcastic, Spanish fluent, uncontrollable teenage girl; also known as the Princess of Oceaneia, and heir to the throne with her twin and fiancé.

*****BOOK ONE****** Set in a continent called Irevalen, where the skies are ruled by dragon-shifters - immortal beings who can take human form, but never fully shed their beast. Centuries ago, a Blood Treaty was made between dragons and the last surviving human kingdom. To maintain balance and peace, a dragon from the royal bloodline must bond with a human every 500 years - not just a marriage, but a soul-binding, deep magic deal that ensures dragons don't destroy the mortal realm with their fire and fury. The catch? The human bride is always chosen by fate. No one picks. No one can refuse. Or so they say. --- 🔥 The Male Lead: Kaelith Vyron, the current heir to the SKYCOURT throne - feared warrior, emotionless strategist, and cold-blooded dragon prince. Has rejected the idea of love his whole life. Is terrified of what the soul-bond might do to him (dragons who bond can be consumed by obsession). Is pissed that fate tied him to a weak, mortal girl. Thinks she'll break. Plans to scare her off. But she doesn't. And it wrecks him. --- 🕊️ The Female Lead: Liora Vane, 22-year-old healer's apprentice from the far southern coast. Orphaned young. Grew up with books, herbs, and freedom. Hates the idea of fate deciding who she marries. Thinks dragons are cruel, inhuman monsters. When she's taken from her village and presented to Kaelith, she fights back - hard. Swears she'll never belong to him. But then... she sees pieces of his humanity. And it terrifies her more than the fire ever did.

I would like to say a huge thank you to @cakeiplier for helping with progressing the story This story contains some sexual scenes (It doesn't go into too much detail) and some sexual situations. If you are below 14 or sensitive to sexual content, I would advise you to not read this story. I, of course, do not own you so if you read this I can't stop you. Some trigger scenes are also included so please watch out for that. Enjoy the teaser and the book! :D {Teaser} I walk through the quiet village center as darkness consumes me. The black velvet blanket that is the sky has small diamond like stars that shine and illuminate the darkness below. I look through a few shop windows as I walk past but most of them seem to be shut since it's around 11pm. I see a random Starbucks that seems to be new and I shake my head in disappointment. I don't hate Starbucks but it ruins the town's classic atmosphere. After walking a few more minutes down the road I spot my best friend's coffee shop that her family owns. Luckily it's stays open until 12 so I decide to pop in and have a hot chocolate and chat with her for a bit. The warm air takes the redness away from my cheeks and fingertips as I step inside. I look up to see my best friend Nellie instantly spot me. "Hey, Hannah. It's nice to see you here." She wraps her arms around me for a hug and I gladly hug her back while sneakily stealing her body heat. "It's nice to see you too, Nellie." I reply as we pull away from the hug. "I'll get you the usual, then we can sit down and have a chat." She giggles as she begins to prepare two hot chocolates. I take my woolly coat off and I place it on my chair at a four seated table. I look around at the paintings and little nik naks that are placed of classic wooden shelving with a smile plastered on my face. The original fire place and everything else sets a family and home like atmosphere. Nellie then takes a seat across from me and gives me my hot chocolate.

Anika Madan finds herself involved with racketeers as she gets a job as a simple wine attendant and bar-tender at Santorini's Winery and Brewery Co. Little does she know, just how familiar she really is with this place, considering she used to work with the owner himself as a teen. But at that time, he was just Zeke. The warm, friendly, kind guy that always offered a helping hand, whom she trusted and had an innocent little crush on. 4 years later, he's Ezekiel Vasilios. The cold, calculating, feared, and brutal leader of the Greek Mafia. The thought of crossing paths with him makes people's stomach churn in the most unpleasant way. He runs The Royal Chi along with its multitude of business ventures, both legal and on the illegal side. A ruthless businessman and an even more cutthroat mafia boss. No pun intended. Alas, things don't always stay the same. They are no longer the two teenagers making pasta together in their small town local restaurant. Now, they are two young adults following entirely different life paths. What happens when their world collides again for a second time? *** "If you're going to try to shoot somebody," Ezekiel gritted. My hands began thrashing against his hard chest in an angry attempt to push him away, but miserably failed when the weight from my throat went to my wrists instead. His piercing reflective eyes bored into mine until I watched him bring up his other hand. Instantly, I felt the icy touch of metal at the temple of my head. He slowly used the barrel to move a strand of my hair away, trailing it down the side of my face. Suddenly, I feel his warm minty breath fanning my ear as I froze. "Don't ever think twice about it." He murmured harshly. The heat radiating off of his body mixed with the scent of cologne invading my nostrils provided both security and danger, despite the situation we're in. "It's kill, or be killed in this world, Anika. Never forget that."

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover.
