Cyra caught movement in the corner of her eye. She turned towards the woods. A man stood there, watching them. Without a doubt, she knew it was Owen, but she couldn't exactly place how she knew. Their eyes locked and Cyra felt chills run up her spine. He turned. "Owen, wait!" She took off toward him. He turned and ran. "Owen!" She yelled, but she knew he was gone. ~ In the future, the world has been drenched with magic. The Front Range is protected by a City Council, made up of representatives from the Mercenary Guild, the Front Range Pack, the Mage Order, and more. Cyra Alexus is a member of the Mercenary Guild, handling some of the Guild's toughest assignments. When she's sent to kill the Alpha of the Front Range Pack, Owen Price, her whole life changes in an instant. Double-crossed and left for dead, Cyra is easily discovered by Owen, who almost instantly recognizes her as his mate. As Cyra and Owen perform their mating dance, the pack is threatened by outside forces. As they are tested at every turn, they must learn to trust their bond, and save each other and Owen's pack in the process.

Last edit Jun '23 Grace is stuck, lost, and feeling a little stupid. How could she think this was a good idea? She was supposed to look after her sister and cousin, not get conned into a road trip with their dead-beat mother. Now they were in hicksville-nowhere shifter town with the police deputy calling her his mate? What? But how could she even think of being his mate when she is stuck in some nowhere town with her sister and cousin, who she is responsible for? She had to get them all home. Does she even want to go home? Being the Silver Thread Valley police deputy was a tough job. But Logan was living the good life. He couldn't imagine living in a more perfect shifter town with his relaxed, solemn bear. None of his family thought anything would rattle his bear. Until his bear chased down Grace Steadmond. The angel of his dreams. Grace was perfection, angelic, ethereal. He was going to show her how perfect she was. Even if that meant fighting a pack of lions and a crazy mother to do so.
