Cyra caught movement in the corner of her eye. She turned towards the woods. A man stood there, watching them. Without a doubt, she knew it was Owen, but she couldn't exactly place how she knew. Their eyes locked and Cyra felt chills run up her spine. He turned. "Owen, wait!" She took off toward him. He turned and ran. "Owen!" She yelled, but she knew he was gone.

Cyra Alexus is a member of the Mercenary Guild, handling some of the Guild's toughest assignments. When she's sent to kill the Alpha of the Front Range Pack, Owen Price, her whole life changes in an instant.
