Welcome to Winterclear

Under admittedly odd circumstances, teacher Alice Breckenridge is offered a new position which she can't refuse. Soon she has given notice, packed up her car, and road tripped to start her new job and her new life. Although she explicitly followed the GPS instructions, she finds herself alone in a graveyard.

She gets out of the car to stretch her legs and try to sort out Siri, assuming she's made a wrong turn somewhere. But then, a man steps out of the mausoleum and the huge stone fountain begins to slide aside, revealing an under ground tunnel. She's in the right place. The only way to get to Winterclear is through the graveyard.

A normal person with properly functioning intuition and internal alarm bells might decide to nope out of the situation, but not our dear, sweet Alice. She accompanies the little man through the tunnel and into a picturesque community which is surrounded by a one hundred foot wall.
