Now Butch has to rescue his girlfriend along with the other inhabitants of his village where he lives with Barbara who were kidnapped for evil purposes by the evil Zalgo. Butch will now have to travel through each island accompanied by his ghostly friend who discovered on his way Gasperyn a very old ghost that will help him in his adventure His adventure will not be easy at all for this crazy and naive marsupial, he will win more enemies than friends but his heart will guide the love of his life but his brain will not help him much...
Will he be able to defeat and stop Zalgo's evil plans and save the inhabitants of the Island and the love of his life?

luego de los sucedido al final de la batalla contra Shadow en la película de Sonic 3, este mismo logro salvar a Robotnick y llevarlo con Stone de regreso, a la tierra en donde ambos los cuidarían y adoptarían a Shadow ya que no tenía otro lugar a dónde ir Sonic regresaría con Maddie y Tom, hasta enterarse de que ambos (Eggman y Shadow) habían salido con vida de la explosión de la nave y ahora estaba viviendo con Eggman y Stone por lo que iba regularmente a visitarlos mientras Stone y Robotnick salían de paseo cómo "amigos" el azúl aprovechaba para visitar al azabache comenzando así una cercanía entre ambos... manteniéndola a ocultas de Robotnick ya que, los términos aún no seguían bien entre el y el azúl ... pero ... podrán ocultarla para siempre?... ...
