When River Mazira gets a letter that she has been accepted into Crown Lake, a school for witches and wizards in America, she decides to go. She doesn't realize how much this decision would change her life.
Selwyn Marie Dumbledore, Albus Dumbledore's cousin is the headmistress of Crown Lake and has a daughter, Linnea. When River lays eyes on Linnea she almost instantly falls in love. The problem is Linnea already has a boyfriend, Luke. Luke doesn't treat her well and Selwyn does not approve of their relationship but is unaware that Luke has a magical bond on her daughter. What will happen when Selwyn finds out? Will River ever admit her feelings? Will Linnea ever get away from Luke?
