It's the year 20XX and the world has become dystopian like, everyone has developed some sort of power and soon came a social hierarchy of strongest to weakest, and then came heroes and villains. In the City of Stygian connected to the other large city Umbrage chaos was beginning to break out villain and low level thug crime rates had increased in Umbrage as for Stygian it was peaceful and very low crime was ever committed until our main man Daemon decided to change that.
A/N: There are adult themes used in this book and high warning for gore and use of homophobic/transphobic slurs along with other traumatic themes included please read with caution. So this is a spinoff to a book I'm writing. Because I'm still in school I won't be able to publish the book, so this might be confusing but I will explain it very shortly here: What you need to know about this world is that there are demonic creatures called the nightimps invading the human world since centurys. Because of that angelic creatures created new humans called the lightslayers to protect the normal humans. They gifted them with fantastical powers. They are called Lightslayers and live in the otherside (kinda like a diffrent dimension on earth) where humans and nightimps can't enter. They get their powers at a ceremonie (most times when they age14. !!This story is about Alex Heart and Clio Graves and how they find out about one of the ugliest secrets of the council (the council are the rulers of the otherside). The secret: Damian Grumpy. And Alex feels stronger about Damian then he should.!! You should probably also know about the shadowslayers.
