A 3 part short story.
Arcadia (Greek: Ἀρκαδία) refers to a vision of pastoralism and harmony with nature.
'You are my saviour, you are our saviour. We will take revenge.'
People saw it as heaven, a place where the good and hardworking enjoyed their life in harmony. But even heaven has its stains, the ugly stains that could never be washed away. They didn't chose to be those stains, they were simply born to be, born into an unfair world, a world with its shames hidden.
This wasn't heaven, it was hell.

His laugh, his smile, his eyes, and his last words. Oh god his last words were the saddest things I've ever heard, but he meant them, I know he did. Three words, eight letters, and it was all the truth, but the truth hurts so much. "I love you." Those words will never have the same meaning. Because they'll be my last memory of him. ----------------------------------- It was just a simple mission, no one was supposed to get hurt. They had done it plenty of times before. So why did it go so wrong? And why did take him? -------------------------------------- The pain, the tears, the silence, it seemed to never stop. Everything reminded them of him, no matter what it was, it was all him. Only one of them had felt the worst of it, because he was his everything, and losing him felt like the world had ended. He was gone, he wasn't returning from that mission. Until he did. ------------------------------- Blank, unknowing, confused, not like they remembered him. Not how he was in their fondest memories. He was there, but wasn't . When he was gone, they only had a memory, but when he returned, it was like he never had. Maybe that's all he'll ever be, a memory.Complete

Percy Jackson is not a good person. At least, not anymore. Percy has been through a lot. Annabeth is dead and his few remaining friends are scattered across America. Percy's been loyal and heroic his whole life, he's always done what the gods asked. And they have only ever repaid him with pain and indifference. So now it's his turn. His longing for justice is growing and the more bitter he becomes, the more it sinks in that without Annabeth, he has nothing left to fight for. But then again, there's nothing holding him back. Revenge is something that has long been above Percy. But at the end of the day, at least it's something to fight for. The gods have forgotten that loyalty goes both ways.
