My friends death was a surprise to everyone. She was all happy and optimistic, and not even two months later she wasn't talking much, she would wear long sleaves constantly, even in warm weather, and she was just in a bad mood 24/7. She is- was- my best friend, but I guess theres just other things going on in peoples lives.
