Humans and Pokémon are colonising Mars, but good people aren't the only ones with their eyes on this new world.

The first spaceflight of the Ares program launched 49 years ago. So far, the red planet hasn't been kind. Without spacesuits, few Pokémon can survive outside the bubble that protects the first town, Ironville. Humans certainly can't. Most of its 350,000 residents say they love it there, but jokes about the 'Mars madness' hide a sinister reality for those who disagree.

Despite that, more people and Pokémon keep coming. Amongst the huge crew of Ares 24 are four scientists convinced they'll be the ones to terraform the planet and see Pokémon thriving in the wild: Callerya Mesquite Magnolia, Thalassa Hawthorn Harmonia, Joshua Pickett and Jin Oak. Nyx Harmonia is their security guard. Mercury Harmonia is their photographer. The latter two, however, have something else in mind: finding Nyx's great-grandfather Volo and Mercury's father Horace, who disappeared through an Ultra Wormhole 30 years ago.

If Volo and Horace are on Mars, that means the people who kidnapped them also are. They may well have found fellow villains Team Genesis, who also disappeared in search of Mars many years ago... and then there are the members of the criminal syndicates Cipher and Team Plasma who somehow made it onto the ship. Survival, let alone victory, is unlikely this time around.

At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not. It felt as if an entire day had passed before Sirius spotted land. They were exhausted, starving, and dehydrated, but managed to muster up some energy to try and get Buckbeak to land. As they approached the landmass, however, they started to notice how densely populated it was. A city was sprawled underneath them, and Buckbeak was going nowhere near it. Despite their urging, the flying creature continued its course for another five hours. Buckbeak finally touched down in a dense forest area with no cars, crowds, or buildings in sight. He crashed down with as much grace as he could muster, flung the unwelcomed passengers off of him, and wandered off to find substenance. "Sirius, where are we?" Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. The character mostly appears in flashbacks but is an important character.

Getting a late start due to her taking care of one of her last remaining family she had left, her grandfather who has since passed away, she heads on her journey where she teams up with a fifteen year old girl by the name of Raine whose dream is to be an amazing breeder like the rest of her family. Along the way, Azalea meets Professor Augustine Sycamore and the two become friends and have a slight attraction for each other. But while Azalea gets annoyed by Augustine, Augustine begins to like Azalea a lot. For years, the two don't say anything, just remain friends due to her Absol being overprotective of her. Around the start of Pokemon X&Y {TV SHOW} Azalea returns to visit her friend and check on her Espeon who had been in Augustine's care for about three years due to Espeon's friendly rivalry with Garchomp as a Gible. It is then that she encounters Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and his friends who notice that Azalea and Augustine are in love. And it's around that time that their blossoming romance truly begins! {This crosses over eventually with Pokemon Whisperer: Book 6}
