Emo boy Dillon has been partnered with emo girl Danielle for a report on suicidal teens. Unfortunately, this does not sit well with his girlfriend Nicole, who makes sure to let Danielle know who’s boss. Realizing that Nicole might not be all he thought she was, Dillon dumps her. Rumors immediately begin circulating that he is in love with Danielle, and things heat up while the two are researching their project and Dillon peeks into Danielle's dairy. Suddenly, Dillon is haunted by the ghouls, ghosts, and creepy creatures that inhabit Danielle’s dreamworld. Now that he has become a part of this world, he must find a way out and save Danielle. While doing it he falls in love with her and now he has to find a way to prove to her that he loves her.
