In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? An undead monster struggles with the question of "if he has a soul", and can he change who he was, while Stockholm syndrome comes out to play. Nicole has to face her deepest fear, her literal cloned self who's inexplicably banging the monster they spent all of book 1 killing, and the only solution is that someone has to sacrifice their life for the good of the others, and this time they have to fight a god to do it. Ancient evil rises to shows it's true form, a corrupt shadow government breaks down, the gods cannot help you anymore, and Nicole once again faces a unique problem...what the hell to do with the other Nicole. Evil doppelganger, lost soul just trying to fit in, or the only friend who truly understands her? The only way to find out, is to trust and turn her back, hoping not to have it stabbed by herself.Complete
