This book is about Liz, Liz was never healthy. Her whole childhood she had been in and out of different hospitals. When she was born Liz was very Premature. She was born with a severely rare case of anemia, which they figured out she had later in her childhood, and on top of her anemia, Liz was born with one bone connecting her thigh to her foot. She was born without knee or ankle bones in both legs. Her parents had two options to help her. One being, getting her legs amputated, or, getting a giant metal rod put in each leg. The difference between the options were that she could either hopefully walk with prosthetics, or she wouldn't be able to walk at all and have to come in whenever she would normally have a "growth spurt" and get longer rods put in, but she would have legs.

Travel through Liz's life during her time in the hospital. There she meets a daring and handsome stranger... will they fall in love? or will he disappear? Read more to find out!
