Radiance

Across vast desert valleys, marshy swamps, towering mountains, and storming seas, the people's of Radiance each have their own way of life in their kingdoms. Where fire rules people kill each other for power, where wind rages against the mountains people hid away in the trees, where grasslands disappear into jutting mountains people live among the earth itself, and where the ocean itself tries to drown the people, they worship it. In each kingdom people live in strife, a few more than others. In the deserts of the west The Quail, a whore to the a gang leader, prepares to be sold to the king. In the badlands of the north Sae, a beautiful woman from the great canyon, disguises her heritage to seduce a prince. In the mountains of the south Erika, a prisoner of war, tries to desperately get out of her arranged marriage. In the tropical islands of the east Tulo, a boy of twelve, is forced into religious service to support what's left of his family. Each has problems they must endure, but it's nothing compared to the problems that are coming for them. For the gods of fire, wind, earth, and water aren't the only gods in the world. New gods are arriving on Radiance, and the issues they bring with them will change Radiance forever. Will the kingdoms of Radiance and the unfortunates within be able to put aside their differences and survive these changes, or will they succumb to selfishness and witness the end of the four kingdoms?
