Dark Side Of The Morning

Sia was epitome of beauty, brains and grace. Born with face of angel and destiny to rule. She was sole heir to the largest chain of luxury hotels in all of India. Her father believed it was her birth that triggered the avalanche of luck into their lives. Sia was more than capable of handling the business. There was only one problem- She was a ruthless tyrant. A misandrist to the core Sia knew no man could stop her from building her own empire not even her father. Worried about his daughters' calous ways the tycoon wrote his will before death- it said his daughter would inherit everything he had built in his lifetime on his own if only his daughter could find love in her life.

So she devised a devious plan. With her family doctor who was responsible to declare a criminal sentenced to death next day for crimes she didn't care about. She would get married on paper, prove it to her lawyer and bam. The man dies and with him all of her problems.

A seemingly full proof plan, except, the marriage is done- but he is pardoned. In twist of fate a criminal sentenced to death finds himself married to the richest heiress in business.

This is retelling of a movie I watched as a kid and it stayed in my head. Even though I can no longer recall the name of old movie made in Marathi I am writing this story as I remember it. I dedicate this to Marathi literature that I believe has always been ahead of its time.
