(**Currently in the process of being edited AS OF OCT 2023 lol IDK how long this will take to rework but bear with me**) Set between books 4&5 and written only while book 4 was out, so please forgive any inaccuracies. --- Pyrrhia: a vast island divided between seven warring dragon tribes. I feel like I've been uploading on my BFDIxII AU too fast, probably cuz I usually have too much free time and I'm exited about having this account. So to handle this issue, I've made this side book! A human in Wings of Fire
A prophecy made to be broken. An otherworlder in a story he shouldn't be part of. What happens when the one who knows tries to change things ? And what happens when those very things go wrong ? Ashley is just a guy, a person of normal constitution that lives an ordinary life. There is nothing special about him, except for that part where he got teleported into a different world. But, somehow, it's a place that is familiar to his mind. He wakes up in Pyrrhia, a world he knows from childhood, but has no idea how this happened. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter, this place isn't very welcoming when it comes to the two legged creatures we know as scavengers, and he soon finds himself into a very peculiar situation. However, Ashley has been granted the Ability to speak with dragons at the same time he has been sent here, maybe he will be able to use this ability to make some friends, or, at least, survive. And who knows, maybe he will be able to have a meaningful impact in this new world.

(This story starts in a completely different world, same time line as the Wild West, but in a completely different dimension. I will have some blips, but do not mean to be rude if I have the tribes wrong in the Wild West time. The female lead is of my own ideas and nothing to do with one such tribe) Harriett Hall, a 15 year old beauty with a hidden secret that has cost her everything she has held dear. The last of 'Sisters Of The Wind' a tribe in Egypt where the woman have fought alongside the men for centuries. Being the youngest of 3 daughters, it has been her place to protect the last child of her family and never marry. But after a raid led by a trusted merchant that came from 'The Land of the Eagles and The Fertile Soil' and his men. Destroyed everything in their way, if it wasn't for being overlooked very quickly because of her makeup face with spots, boils and scars, to detour many future possible matches from happening. She follows a couple of leads that take her to 'The Land of the Eagles and The Fertile Soil'. Where luckily her uncle awaits for her. She will find: love, loss, happiness and pain, in a world so alien to her and unearth feelings that she was always told to keep hidden. The Merchant only known by the Name, He-Who-Travels-With-The-Wind. Being a merchant was never on the cards, he was to be the next Chief of his tribe until he was betrayed by those he thought he could trust. With his ability to carry a weapon gone, he becomes a wandering merchant to get by. Everything changes when he finds a beauty helping one of his friends, dressing his wounds after a fight in Bishops Close. A beauty with such kindness, understanding, no judgment or hate. He will teach this little warrior the true things that she was told to bury. Two lost souls, that have been betrayed by those they thought they could trust. Will not only teach each other what they have lost but also open each others hearts to the beauty that lives inside.

I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. The Jade Winglet is given the task to each find a scavenger and record their interactions. Moon is out looking for one when something happens. She gets turned into a scavenger! Her goal is to find a way to change back, but her friends make this almost impossible when Qibli finds her to use as his scavenger for the project. Will he eventually recognize her? Will she find her way back? And will she be able to convince Pyrrhia that scavengers are not what they originally thought? Will scavengers finally be able to live in peace?
