17-year-old Penelope Smythe, or Pen as her friends call her, lost her family almost 2 years ago. Orphaned she went to live with her aunt, who too had lost her family. However, when things get out of hand, Pen is thrown away from her friends and towards Noah, which will cost her more than just a lifelong friendship. On her search for answers, Pen is taken from long dead family members to the old city orphanage, where everything is not what it seems. Not only must she avoid her aunt's strict glare, she must also figure out why she seems to know about these murders before they happen.
