After all the sufferings that this life has subjected her to, Carhear Arvel, the illegitimate child of Viscount Merek, was left with no choice but to completely give up on her life for she no longer has something dear to cling to.
With her life always dangling at the edge of the cliff, she remained an obedient wife to her husband, Duke Isolda, who was also part of the sufferings bestowed upon her.
Existing but with no will to continue breathing, the life of the poor Duchess continued with only one definite route to take-- death.
