"Lucy, we were bitten. And from what you found out," Damon took a deep breath and looked at me, giving me a stare that felt very serious, "we're not human any more."

A rustle came from the bushes. I whipped my head up, and a pair of luminous eyes met mine. Both fear and panic held me to the ground. I couldn't scream or move. The eyes blinked and lowered toward the ground. They took a step towards me and I matched it, taking a step back. A low growl came from the figure and that seemed to release me from my paralysis. I turned and ran, slipping as I came round the fence, my heart pounding. The heavy footsteps were coming impossibly close and this refueled my muscles and I sprang up coming round to the gate of the fence. As I ripped the gate open, I was slammed to the ground. Teeth pierced the skin in my leg and I let out a shrill scream. I felt myself being dragged backwards towards the trees. I let out another scream and tried to kick my attacker. With a growl, claws came and gashed my other leg and a scream ripped past my lips. Just as I was being dragged into the trees, the pulling stopped. I tried to crawl away and then to stand and run, but the searing pain left me falling to my feet. Blood was pouring out of my leg and I could feel myself slipping away. My attacker crouched, ready to attack again and I helplessly tried to crawl away all the while waiting for the pain and teeth to come again.... ---------------------------------------------------- One night will change Kate's life forever. Or So I Thought.
They say don't talk and drive, and now I know why. Although, not for the reason you might think. I accidentally hit my alpha mate with my truck. Bet the insurance won't cover that. Shit. I hopped on my bike and I started it and I drove off. As I was zooming down the street I saw a wolf in the middle of the road I was going to fast I pressed on my breaks but I wasn't going to stop in time so I swerved off the road. I moved the bike off of me, the wolf slowly came up to me. I thought I was going to die, but I didn't instead it bit my side I screams once it's teeth synced through my skin. What was worse then it stopped I felt his teeth slowly pull out he then ran off I cried in pain I heard my phone go off but I couldn't move nor answer everything was blurred I saw figures through my helmet. I heard cars stopped I saw someone standing over me. He lifted me to sit up but I screamed and cried in pain. He looked at my side and saw the bit then everything went black.Complete
Lets Just Say..... I Was Not Expecting This
I was not expecting to turn into werewolf on my 16th birthday, definitely not expecting the word Mate to be real and very legit and like the god damn cherry on top my parents joined us to a pack and moved me, my brother and sisters away from our only life we knew.
