But when she found out that the people she knew in her world was the alter of the people in that world. She suddenly realized that she was domed. 

Because the moment that she touched her reflection on that mirror she was already in danger. Specially when the Grand Duke-the alter of the man whom she adore because of his perfection, suddenly kidnapped her and now is aiming for her death.

Past is past and it's no longer existing. It should be forgotten, yet needs to be remembered to figure out some things.
