It's year 2047, four years after the near destruction of planet Earth from unknown forces.  Earth has lost most of it's population, now only about 367 million people live around the planet. With less people, wealth has taken over Earth.

Evelyn, a normal ninth grade student,  must fight to protect her friends and herself.  After surviving the nuclear bombs scattered across the world, she puts her life and others on the stake upon entering a Dome. In this time, Domes are common to be found scattered around popular cities. Will she be able to survive another war?

I know I deleted my first one, but I wasn't happy with  the writing. So I decided to start over with this( it's still the same thing but better). I just haven't seen anyone my age yet, and I got excited, which happens rather easily. It reminds me a bit of puppies I've read about that just get so excited that they- oops. I'm doing it again. Sorry," she said with a shy smile. Adam, who had been standing there staring, just as she had pointed out, finally found his voice long enough to tell her his name. She beamed at him, saying that they would be great friends. She seized his hand and began tugging him toward the woods behind the cottage, shouting to Ivy and his mother, "We won't go far! Be back soon!" ~~~

My neighbour's house is normal. There are two stories, stairs, and a tiny porch. A red door, and many windows with pretty crimson shutters. My neighbour's house is normal. The lights are on when they need to be, and off when they don't. The grass is mown, and there are sometimes cars in the driveway. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I can see into some of the rooms. Always when I'm not really trying. The rooms are nice, with a warm colour scheme and polished wooden furniture. There is one room that is entirely white. A bare bulb swings from the ceiling. From the outside, I can see no furniture. The walls are old and stained.. There are no shutters on that window. My neighbour's house is normal. I see them sometimes. They're gone most of the day. We wave when we see each other, coming or going. Those two seem nice. Didn't they used to have a son about my age? My neighbour's house is normal. They turn off their lights about the same time we do. Except in that one room. The lights in the white room stay on late each night. I tried to watch them, once, to see how late they stayed on. I fell asleep. When I woke up, they were already off. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I hear sounds from the house. Almost like muffled screams. Everyone gets night terrors, it's common knowledge that, at night, everything can sound scary. My neighbour's house is normal. Except when it isn't.

IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. As the hero and allies go to face off against the dark forces in one epic battle, faulty architectural support leads our protagonist to the bottom of the pit where she must decide the fate of not only her people, but her enemies' as well. This story was written for a friend of mine fore Christmas in about a week and was also the first story I ever completed so I understand that the writing isn't the greatest but that's why I'm putting it here, to get constructive criticism to help further my writing knowledge. I also do know that a lot of the names are from other works but they were a reference for my friend to figure out to make the story a little bit more personal for here (and now I'm posting it for the public but she said I could). Furthermore, if you notice any inconsistency in the names, like 'Frisk' being written instead of 'Fritz', just let me know and I'll fix it. I was writing this after playing Undertale so I had that name in my mind and might not of caught every mistake I made.
