Killua was in torment.
Constantly moving around, trying to find someway to permanently protect Alluka and Nanika. The constant movement was for both increased likelihood and for safety. Illumi was constantly on their trail. Constantly leaving reminders that he was only a breaths way from having them tied to his strings once more.
Killua was in torment.
He could only see Gon every few months, barely getting to see Kurapika and Leorio in general. He could endure though. He could endure being lonely, he could endure it because Alluka and Nanika came first. They always did, and he was find with that.
Killua was in torment.
He was whisked away with a careless wish, leaving him alone, fearful for where Alluka and Nanika had gone. Alluka wished him safe. Nanika wished him happy. Killua was unsure if either were apparent.
Killua was in torment... and he didn't know when he'd be at peace again.
