Harry and Louis grew up together. They were inseparable from the ages of 5-13.
A sudden decision for divorce forces Harry to move across the ocean to America, after which Louis and Harry lose contact. By no fault of their own.
Nearly 6 years later the boys will be entering their senior years of Highschool when Louis' mom suddenly passes away. With nowhere else to go Louis' reunited with Harry in America (san Francisco) and lives are changed.
Harry does his best to drag Louis out of his shell as gently as possible but Louis' shyness persists, as old, forgotten feelings resurface allowing them to see each other in ways they never did before.
