Anakin Skywalker was on the brink of falling into darkness. In fact, he even called himself Darth Vader. But what would happen if he turned away from that life and redeemed himself?
It's going to take a lot more than a single decision to turn things around. Will his old friends forgive him? Will Padme? But most importantly, will he be able to forgive himself when the pull to the Dark Side is so strong...

Jedi and Sith- I never questioned it, of course. Not till certain Jedi proved otherwise. Anakin Skywalker, the best pilot in the galaxy and the greatest Jedi I'd ever known. But there was more, much more. He was arrogant, headstrong, always biting off more than he could chew. He was strong, brave, and at times unbelievably kind. He made me laugh, and we taught each other how to love. But Anakin was also a man who wanted too much, who cared too much. It lead him astray, away from me, from good into evil. But was it just for evil? The thing always questioned, to this day. Could the universe indeed be as black and white as I painted? No, not anymore. Not from what I had seen and experienced. How could I still love a man who'd fallen so far? If the world was just good and evil- I should hate him- but it was not that simple. It never was. If a woman brought down my faith in one, I suppose it is only right a woman would bring down the other, too. But, I'm better this time. Older. Experienced. Knowledgeable. I wouldn't give up everything for a woman again, right? Wrong. You see, with Padmé, I feared the danger she put herself in. I rarely encouraged her to fight harder, encouraged her use her talents and charisma. Sometimes I even disagreed with her ideals. And it is that mistake, among many, that I will not be making again. If Kitten wants to show her claws, her targets need only look behind her to see my shining eyes preparing to clean up the mess. It might be fun, were it not for the sheer size of her messes.
