The Secret In The Woods

Clare McCarthy had what you could call a "normal" thirteen year old life until she wakes up and her mother is missing, her father looses his job, and they are forced to move to their old summer cabin in the middle of the woods, in the middle of no where. How could it possibly get any worse? Well, by her waking up and watching her father and neighbor/nanny walk into the woods where no one has ever come back from, with only a small backpack and some flash lights. Now she must ignore everything she knows and venture into the woods on the adventure of a life time that will take her to unknown worlds, meeting unknown creatures, to save her family and quite possibly everyone, in every world, from the mysterious unknown that lives in the wood.
